SOURCE: heater temperature control buttons

The board is bad. The part number is IDXLCPA1930. Expect about a $400 replacement cost.

SOURCE: Heater cycles on and of, pool/spa does not reach desired temp

hello, It sounds like you may not be getting circulation thru the heater. Make sure the valves are open to allow water to pass thru the heating system. Some systems use a bypass on the heater so there is not a lot of wear on the coil system in the heater. If it is not circulating it will get too hot and the safety shut down will occure. If you are getting water circulating thru the heater, then the thermocouple or auto start igniter system is not working correctly. It is trying to start and can't then recycles. If the burners are igniting on the startup and then shutting back down you may have a bad control unit or thermal sensor unit. Since the unit is gas have a professional service it for you. Good Luck, RAC

SOURCE: my hayward heater gives a LO error when trying to

One of your limits is not working or not wired up. An easy way to check the limits - Water pressure switch, Hi limits, air pressure switch all of which have 2 wires going to them. Unplug one item and connect the 2 wires together ( paper clip works fine ) Then retest, if problem does not go away remove paper clip and reconnect wires and move to the next limit. The limits are located in the black plastic header. Always make sure water is flowing through the heater at all times while checking the limits.

SOURCE: Hayward pool heater - p5 code

The code is "PS" for Pressure Switch and means there is insufficient pressure to operate (low flow) or the switch itself is bad.

I can not turn off ob on the screen of my Hayward pool heater

I looked up the owners manual for the Hayward H400 heater and it did not list the "ob" indication. For this reason I would call the and they likely can help you out.

Please let me know how this turns out. Thank you.

The temperature buttons on my hayward 400IDL heater stopped working. I can turn the modes between pool, spa and standby but the buttons for raising and lowering the temp. arent working. no codes are coming...

You most likely need a new touch pad and they are almost impossible to troubleshoot. If everything else works except "button A" then button A is bad and in this case that means the whole thing is bad. Sorry...
