The Pacesetter PS1250 should not get lubricated by the user. There are no oil or lubrication directions in the manual. The PS1250 manual is on the product support page: http://www.brother-usa.com/support/ModelInfo.aspx?R3ModelID=PS1250 . Click on the Manuals & Documents tab. The direct link to the manual is http://www.brother-usa.com/VirData/Content/en-US/HAD/Consumer/UsersManual/194377011(L25)-2.pdf . Other Brother product manuals can be found by starting here: http://www.brother-usa.com/Support/ .
I hope this helps.
