Question about Lanier Office Equipment & Supplies
I cleaned the thermistors in the fuser which were dirty. I tried using the instruction for Ricoh, but using either clear or reset, then 107 and holding stop did not work to get me into the next screen. SOLVED: Use Reset - 107 - Clear. NOW YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN. I believe following the rest of Ricoh instructions might work, but we had a service tech lead us through.

1. Test Mode Operations
• The Test Mode is performed from the copier’s Tech. Rep. Mode.
1-1. Entering the Tech. Rep. Mode
1. Press the Utility key.
2. Touch [Total Check].
3. Press the following keys in order: Stop → 0 → 0
→ Stop → 0 → 1.
• Be sure to keep the display procedure for the Tech.

Press the yellow button. Press the 107 keys. Press and hold the red clear button for a few seconds until the service mode screen appears on the LCD display.

Reset the SC (set SP5-810-1). Enter the SP Mode by holding down "up" and "down" arrow for 10 s then you press "enter"

Press the “Up/Down arrow” keys together for about 5 seconds, and then press the
“SYSTEMver x.xx/ 1. Service” appears on the display.
The machine automatically goes off line when you enter the service mode.
enter SP 5810 and reset the SC 543 **** if again appears please do not reset it again because you may do bigger problem and damage more part than ware damaged in first place .
The SC code says that the termistor is damaged so check on the fusing unit dose the termistor is standing in good position or has dirt on the surface of he termistor.
