Need to know what bag to order for the shopvac 6060.... part number, where to order? is this a 20 gallon canister?

The Shop-Vac 6060 is a 20 gallon wet/dry vacuum. However, most shop vacuums don't use a bag. They do have a paper filter when you are using them for dry clean up. This site, https://www.appliancefactoryparts.com/vacuumcleaners/shop-vac/6060.html , has the manual and replacement parts. The filter is listed first in the parts section.

I hope this helps.

My shop-vac stopped mid-job with no warning

Maybe it over heated or the hose was jammed. Unplug it for a few minutes, check the hose for any stuck debris, then plug it back in. Shop vacs also come with a filter. If the filter is too dirty, it might have shut off as a safety precaution to not cause a fire. Follow directions to clean the filter. Hope this helped. Dee

I need a user manual for the Shop Vac Classic 20 (http://www.shopvacint.com/SVA0000770.asp). My main issue right now is that the 'filter' is no longer working, I'm unable to get a replacement here in the...

The bags you ordered are for the ZR 80 type. After veiwing the link you submitted for the type of dry vac you have, these bags will not work with your Classic canister Vac. The filters you need simply go over the intake area, sort of like a coffee filter upside down, the a mounting ring slides over the filter and slid down until it can not go any further, the ring holds the filter in place.(over the foam filter)

Older model shop.vac parts/owners manuel

Hi, I know on my Craftsman shop vac 2 different sizes of vacs that I use, I try and stick to the craftsman filters, but you can use other brands if they are not available or you want to save some ( $ ) ? As far as a manual for this vac, more then likely you will have to go to the maker and distributor as Sears, O.C.Hardware also sell there products. You may have to go with a manual that is the same peak H.P.and gallons that covers all different makes and models. Filter wise, make sure you have the right ones on or off when using the wet or dry pick-up settings.
Sincerely,

Old shop vac

Hi,
Yes there should be a filter fitted onto the top section.

For suppliers, it would be cheapest to find your nearest stockist, or buy online and have it shipped. It's still current stock - so spares should be readily available.

Sears stock it -
CRAFTSMAN FILTER

Using shop vac 52722-90 for wet applications

yes, the foam filter is what you should use, also make sure you remove any bag, or paper filter, the water would make it fall apart.

Ridgid 16.5 gallon motor running with no suction

When you use the shop vac for cleaning up water you must remove the filter.

The filter is for dust particles not for water
I would replace your filter and dump the water out from the shop vac, Also after each time you vacuum up water dump it out of shop vac.

I hope this helped you happy new year!

DEWALT DW795 Vac filters

IT looks like the part number is 429704-56 and the Dewalt site shows list price being $51.68. You should be able to order that filter at a DeWalt dealer in your area, hopefully for a discount.

Otherwise, there is here online:
