There is probably dust in the action replay. Or there is something wrong with the AR. Try opening up and see if anything is wrong or broken.

AR's aren't known for working

My ds cant read my action replay

the only thing you can do is get a new AR. I advise against cheating, as it is wrong and ruins the fun of the game.

I cant press next after i put in a code

Please make sure that you are entering the Game ID correctly. Follow these steps to find the Game ID before beginning the code entry process: •Turn on the Nintendo DS with the Action Replay inserted •At the Main Menu when you are instructed to “Insert Game Cart”, remove the Action Replay and insert the game. •On the top screen of the DS, the name of the game (or Unknown Game) will appear. •The number under the Game Name is the Game ID. Please be sure to include the dash when entering the Game ID into the Action Replay.

If this did not solve your problem, please leave a comment and I will get back to it as soon as I can.

Action replay when i plug in my ds and load code manager it says waiting for ds even though it is plugged in

IF you are running Vista 64, the issue is the driver on the disk is incompatible, thus the pc will never see the ds. However, I have found a workaround. First make sure the DS is on and plugged in and the Action replay Manager is launched. On the DS click on the mouse so it should read updating software. Then, go into device Manager via the Control Panel, there you will see NDS and an exclamation mark. Right click and choose to update the driver or properties. Then choose Browse My computer for driver software... then let me pick from a list... then fo the manufacturer shoose: Standard USB Host Controller and for the Model choose Unknown. It will pick it up instantlly. Voila.. Good Luck! and what a pain!! V

Can't get codes

I have just found the solution to the problem (2 minutes later XD)
Quote CodeJunkies' Support site:

Try resetting the Action Replay by following these steps:
  1. Insert the Action Replay into the DS
  2. While the Action Replay software is loading, press and hold all the following buttons: A + B + Start + Select.
  3. Release all of the buttons once the Action Replay is at the main menu.
The first screen should persist for much longer than normal, and when the Action Replay DS main menu loads, your hardware should be reset.

Once the reset has been performed, try connecting the USB cable to your PC, opening up the code manager software and transferring data again.

It won't return all of your games back, but it will allow you to start on a clean slate again. (Using the update feature will bring most, if not all of your games back
