How to remove an automatic gear shift knob from a Holden RG Colorado Automatic 2012 - 2020 Australia

The OP Adds

Unfortunately the type of knob has no clips , screws etc. The new replacement knob has the shift release (the trigger you squeeze to change gears) pushed in at the top with the spring not engaged which I am pretty sure has something to do with the old ones removal, ie I think I have to push the top of the trigger part in to release the knob, but I am not game to do it until I am sure that's what is required. I have scoured the internet but can only find American instructional videos which are different to the Australian setup. Thanks Greg"

There is some help here Greg plus there are a couple of links to Australian Colorado forums where you would get an Aussie perspective and perhaps a service manual.

Washer is blinking the code fl.

Greg, best thing is to take the drain pump motor out. get to the impeller and check for any obstructions. Normally the filter is on the frame of the drain pump assembly.

Gaggia syncrony compact is leaking. Removed top and it appears it is leaking from the area that the line goes into the steam knob. Doesn't leak when using the steam knob, just when brew coffee

Hi What color is the steam manifold? It is located under the black cover with the trough in back under the whit tube. If its whit or black it probably needs to be replaced. If you cool down the manifold after steaming you can prevent this from happening. Just turn off the steam and then open the knob again to run water. It comes out steam at first but then will turn to a water stream. Then you can close the knob and go about brewing or just let it stand.

Leaking

Hi. Mike here. Two "most likely" causes. (1) You simply have a leak at the lower right "cleanout trap". Remove the little white plastic "pull-out" assy. Check the black seal that looks like a little "tire". Is anything caught in it, or wrapped around it, or has it become deformed? Also, check that white plastic (2") washer, in front of it, is not warped (due to overtightening). Unscrew the "knob" (handle) part, all the way out, and separate all 4 parts. Clean knob, washer, tire (seal), and trap assy. Slip washer, then tire, onto knob's threaded "shaft". Flat side of washer goes against knob. Screw knob, washer and tire into trap assy, but only one or two turns. Then, slip entire assy back into machine's recess - and turn Clockwise to tighten. Only tighten hand tight (and I don't mean Macho tight!)
(2) If that doesn't fix, you may very well be using WAY too much detergent. These machines use only 2 or 3 (Max!) Tablespoons of HE liquid detergent. I've seen cases where folks were using 1/2 cup of liquid (or powder) and even more. That causes so much foaming that there have been overflows, from the lower right corner, even though nothing was wrong with the machine. To remedy, run a load empty, with NO detergent.
Good luck, and God bless.
