You cant take back cover off, you remove front cover and then access the top cover then you can replace the belt, there is an access panel on the rear you may need to remove to put belt on motor and idler pulleys

CHANGE THE DRYER BELT MODEL LSE7800ACW MAYTAG WASHER/DRYER COMBO

Hi...you can go to the following website and check out how the belt goes on the dryer.
On a front load dryer, you would normally remove the front to expose the drum and belt, after you remove the drum then that exposes the drum rollers, motor, idler arm pulley, etc.

How do i change belts on maytag dryer, de710

I layed the dryer on its back and fed the new belt through the space between the drum support and the drum. It took awhile, but I am pretty stubborn.

Maytag dryer problem

Could be a loose blower wheel, loose motor mount, worn out rollers, or damage during moving. The only solution is to take to it apart and find the part that's not moving smoothly. If nothing is obviously wrong the motor may have chosen this moment for the motor beaerings to go out.

MAYTAG DRYER LDE4914ACE BELT CHANGE

The belt goes around the pully so that the pully tension takes the slack out of the belt. Just like the serpentine belt on your car.
