Oven Light won't shut off

I have the frigidaire built in wall single oven (electric). Two nights ago I was cooking and inadvertantly hit two digital buttons on control panel at the same time. I'm not sure which two. Ever since the interior oven light will not shut off. Everything else appears to be fine. It heats up, timer works, clock works, etc. I called a few local appliance repair businesses only to find out I might need a new digital board and controls at a cost in excess of $400 I just bought the unit 2.3 years ago for $750 brand new that seems like a crazy cost for such a trivial repair. Any advice???

Amazing, I had the same problem, was told the same thing, even quoted the same amount!   There must be a playbook with stupid answers by repair people.  Anyhow, here is how I unlocked my oven:  "Press and hold the 'Lock' button for 3 seconds then let go and it should unlock in about a minute."  Hope this works for you. Frigidaire electric wall oven wont open error code f90

Error Code E90 typically means that you have a faulty motor door latch, lock motor assembly, door light switch or a defective EOC. You would need this to be diagnosed by a professional technician in order to properly repair the wall oven.

Probe light on convection oven stays on. Clock won't display. Oven still works though.

Sounds like the control board is not communicating correctly with the rest of the unit, consult a professional.

Have a viking professional oven and it takes too

A weak oven ignitor will cause this problem. even though it eventually lights the temp has dropped considerably so you don't get consistent temp. turn the oven on and listen for the burner to light. should light within about 2 minutes. if not replace oven ignitor(s)
