If the screen unit which is in this set called a DISPLAY PANEL is bad you are finished--cost of part will exceed cost of this set new or even a new set to replace it.

Typical 1,000 set the Panel will cost over 1200 just for the part.

Google the model number with Display Panel but I bet none are listed.

3. Regional and language options, there you have the option to change the language to pretty much any language that you want

Programming Notes
• If your device does not respond to the remote after trying all codes listed or your brand is not listed in the code list, use the Auto Code Search method to program your remote.
• Sometimes the first code that "works" with your device may operate only a few functions of your device. There may be another code in the code list that performs more functions. Try other codes from the code list for more functionality.
This is a trial and error procedure; and quiet time consuming. You might have to check different codes said for your device.

Each remote has its own set of codes and supports only a very limited number of tv models. If your tv isn't listed then your only option is to try all the other codes listed for the manufacturer (Panasonic in your case) in the hope one of them will work. If none of them work that the remote isn't supporting it, simple as that.

You mostly have to go through all the numbers to find one that works. Sometimes, with an off brand TV I have the best plasma i've ever owned right now. It's not a fancy brand name and the remote ( Comcast ) wont work for it. The comcast guy said that it would not work with my TV. Hope ite helps. You may not be able to pair the two at all.

1) Reset the remote. To do this, remove the batteries and hold down one of the number buttons for about 5 seconds to drain the capacitors. Replace the batteries, reprogram the remote to your TV and see if it works.

2) If it doesn't, try a second set of replacement batteries just in case.

3) If none of the DirectTV codes work, you have 3 options.

1) Contact Directv and see if they have additional codes not listed in the manual.

2) Contact your televisions manufacturer and see if they have additional codes to try.

3) Purchase a 3rd party remote that works with both devices..

We have a Sylvania 6313CB TV/VCR combo.  I bought a universal remote and the code would not work when I tried to program it to the "TV" button using all those possible codes listed in the books.  So, on the universal remote, there was a button named "VCR" and when I programmed in the code "0000" all worked.  This was a $6.00 universal remote named "One For All"  we bought at the Big Lots store.  
Specifically, here is what I did:
Turned TV on Pushed the "VCR" button and light blinked once Pushed and held the "set" button until it blinked twice Released the "set" button and entered the numbers "0000" Pushed the on/off button and it worked including volume, channel up/down and channel change by entering the channel number.
