The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

The camera will not mar your photos by scrawling a string of numbers across them. However the date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. How do i remove the time and date at bottom right corner of picture.

Basically the date stamp can be turned on / off as an option on the RECORD menu. Page 33 of the manual explains it (with pictures).

Note that if the option is turned on, it states that the date / time is permanently embedded in the picture.

The date created is wrong on my photos
The file properties will always show the date downloaded, since that's the date the file was created on your hard drive. The date (and time) the photo was taken is stored in the file itself, in what's known as the EXIF data.

I don't know what operating system you're using, so I can't give you specific instructions on how to get the date the photo was taken. On Windows Vista, for example, if you click (not double-click) on a file in Explorer, the date taken will appear in the status area at the bottom of the window. Other programs will have different ways of displaying the EXIF data.

Using my memory card, i check my photos display with out date & time.
You will find a setting that will date/time stamp the actual image when it's taken. Please take a look in your manual. Most cameras have this feature.
