Currently, I saw a Bernette 600 Deco manual for sale on eBay; also he Bernette 500 Deco manual is available for download on the Bernina site. Before I purchased one, I would call Bernina to see if they have one you can either download or purchase. Their number is 630-978-2500. you have to put it in straight. when it gets 3/4 of the way in you will feel a little bit of resistance. push steady until you hear it lock in. hope this helps
Yes, I need a manual for the Bernia Bernette Deco 600. Following the death of my daughter, My grand daughter said she did not want any of her mom's sewing equipment. I kept them for her and now she feels she would like to have the embroidery machine. However, we were unable to locate the manual for the deco 600. I am unable to locate one on line...only good reason...due to my inexperience at the computer I am unable to locate a manual for her. Any assistance you can give me will be greatly appreciated.

From all the info I can get it is the same chassis as a brother PE100. It used custom eeaprom cards and read .PEC or .PES files.
It could also be like the Bernette Deco 500 or 600 series. I have also seen a modification of this chassis called the EM10 by Husqvarna and it is USB direct connect and comes with software that outputs .HUS files.
