Service manuals are difficult, if not impossible, to find as they are intended only for technicians. You may be able to find one for sale somewhere, ie eBay or some other web site, but the likelihood is low.

Bernette 340 Deco Embroidery Machine

Currently, I saw a Bernette 600 Deco manual for sale on eBay; also he Bernette 500 Deco manual is available for download on the Bernina site. Before I purchased one, I would call Bernina to see if they have one you can either download or purchase. Their number is 630-978-2500. I also found one for sale for about $14.00 here: Bernina Sewing Machine Manuals Instruction Manuals

According to the manual for the Bernette Deco 340, the machine only reads .EXP+ files. ART files need to be converted to the EXP file type using the Bernina Embroider Software. (Even the designs on the Studio Bernina CD need the ART files converted to EXP.)

I'm surprised that you were able to get any .art files to work until recently.

Yes, I need a manual for the Bernia Bernette Deco 600. Following the death of my daughter, My grand daughter said she did not want any of her mom's sewing equipment. I kept them for her and now she feels she would like to have the embroidery machine. However, we were unable to locate the manual for the deco 600. I am unable to locate one on line...only good reason...due to my inexperience at the computer I am unable to locate a manual for her. Any assistance you can give me will be greatly appreciated.
