The freezer door on my refrige seems to have slipped down and catches on the bottom hinge and will not close properly. have to push on it to close and it "clicks" How can I raise the hinge side of the door to level it out?

If it is a drop down door with hinges on the bootom of the oven door, then it is likely to be weak door hinge springs, the usual solution is to replace both hinges.
If it is a swing open door, then the problem is related to a worn or broken door catch, or worn striker pin.

usally a quick disconnect block for wireing harness on top freezer hing. There will be a water supply tube going up through bottom freezer hinge with a disconnect union fitting close by usally under refrig behind toe grill. once these are disconnected you can then take top hinge off of main part of refrig. by taking screws off on top of upper freezer hinge. you then should be able to lift door off by lifting up on door and water line should slide up and through the bottom hinge.

see if the bottom hinge is bent or for loose screws. you can add another washer, but it's going to wear again.

This short solution may help solve your creaking problem. First thing is make sure the freezer door is capable of closing properly and is not rubbing or catching anywhere. I sometimes add a washer or 2 to the center hinge under the freezer door so it doesn't rub anything. Put a little Vaseline ( or food grade silicone lubricant ) on the hinge side of the seal. I then raise the front of the refrigerator so that the front of the refrigerator is a little higher than the back of the refrigerator. Never level a fridge with a level. Once you have the door closing properly and front slightly higher than the back...let the fresh food door close from 90 degrees on it's own and the freezer door may "pop" open a little but will close again on it's own...and stay closed once all is set up properly. We see this more often now and have no trouble with the door staying open again after setting up the refrigerator properly. Putting vaseline insid the hinge pins too is a good idea.

The refrigerator door seal is being broken when you open the freezer door? Sounds like the rubber magnetic strip needs to be replaced on the refrig. door, they wear out after a number of years.

If Your Refrigerator's Freezer Door Pops Open When You Close the Fresh Food Door... If a 'top-freezer' refrigerator's freezer door pops open when the larger fresh food door's closed, it's actually a good thing. That tells us the seals are in great shape, sealing well.
Some freezer door 'pop' is unavoidable bc the bottom door's so much larger than the top one and the hydraulic effect of compressing all that air kicks in. The two compartments share the same air via a duct between them, and that compressed air rushes up into the freezer compartment and can 'pop' the door.
To improve the situation, apply a few drops of oil (sewing machine oil or 'three in one' - NOT WD-40) to each freezer door hinge pin. (Even better: if you can, pull the doors and coat the hinge pins with petroleum jelly). This will help the freezer door swing back closed by itself. The freezer door usually stays ajar because it's binding a bit, and that's usually caused by it's swinging 'dry', with no lubrication.
It’s also a good idea to ‘kick’ the habit of letting the refrig door close hard.

take the freezer door off and put a washer or two on the bottom hinge. sometimes there are extra plastic washers on the top hinge that you can move to the bottom to lift it up.
also check if the hinge is bent or loose, as this may cause the problem.

The sweating inside is from the door not making a proper seal, and you are getting condensation build-up. The door not shutting is not as unusual as you may think. First check the gasket condition, a new one may not be a bad idea. On these refers with the revisable doors, try removing the freezer door and then loosening the fridge door hinges and adjusting the mounts. Its a trial and error procedure so don't get frustrated. Another trick is to wad up a wash cloth into a ball and wedging it into the door gap after you open it on the hinge side, then close the door. You should have some tension, but not too much. This bends the door a little. If you can get the door to make a good seal it should solve the other problems with the temperature. If not, you are going in the right direction by locating and cleaning the vents. All the cool air in the fridge comes from the freezer.

Check to see if refrigerator door is lower than freezer door. If so remove toe panel, (bottom front). Under refrigerator door hinge at bottom right is adjuster for door. Adjust upward so door is even. On some models when door is too low it causes light to stay on some times, raising ref. temps.
