Was there oil on the clothes before you put them in (use detergent), or did this happen after you put them in, indicating a leak in the machine?

Worth fixing dryer that is getting oil spots on clothes model mah5500bwq

This machine has no oil in the tub assembly. Over a period of time and using cold water washes body oil, dirt and undissolved detergents and fabric softener will accumulate at the water line on the inner wall of the outer tub. After the gunk builds up thick enough parts of it will break loose at times when using hot water and then get on the clothes.

2nd time I have oil stains on my clothes from Whirlpool LSR9434PQ1 and nothing gets them out. Need to know how to get the stains out and what kind of washing machine is better so that I can replace. Spent...

You can try Lestoil to get the grease out, it has surfactants that will help break up the grease, if they aren't set too deeply. This seems to me to have a leaking transmission if you are constantly getting grease on the clothes. A better machine is anything newer that you can afford, quite honestly, there is only your preference to what you want/need for your usage.
Hope this helps, please rate service and comment, Thank You,

The mounting stem needs to be replaced. This page shows how to replace the mounting stem and the tub seal. http://appliance-repair-it.com/Maytag-tub-seal.html

Grease oil ring around tub and it smells like oil?

The only place there is oil in a washer is inside the transmission. If you have oil in the tub (and it didn't come from the clothes you put in) you have a bad transmission seal. It is generally cost prohivitive to replace the transmission. It's time to get a new washer. Look into the front load machines which use much less water and spin out twice as fast as top loaders. Some even have direct drive, which means no belt, transmission, or clutch.

Oil inside drum

Sometimes if your transmission is leaking oil it can creep inside the tub, tilt the machine back if you see oil underneath it then you"ll know if you have a leaking transmission.
