Why is my new computer suddenly slowing down, and my mouse doesnt respond very well. Im suddenly having trouble watching movies on Netflix. I bought it brand new just months ago.

My PC is very slow when I connect to the internet. Then it takes its time going from page to page. When I log in to Facebook, it gets even worse. My mouse seems to stop responding. Scrolling down a page in a nightmare and I have to click many times before it will select anything. Videos are useless to try. Youtube videos stop and freeze. Ive been watching movies on Netflix since I get my pc, and up until recently Ive had no problems. Movies have started freezing and the audio is faster than the picture on my screen. Im constantly told to delete my history, cache and temp files.I do that many times while Im on line, but it doesn't work. Im ready to throw my hands up. Please help.

Do you have anti-virus software installed? If not, you may be infected, and your system is being used by the virus to send out spam e-mails.

You should give us more info on your system; at least mac or PC, desktop or notebook, etc.

It may be running in a 'power save' mode.

SOURCE: slow slow slow...! it takes eges to load the facebook page

Try clearing your cache and your cookies. If your PC has been up for a while, try restarting it. Facebook runs a lot of scripts that you don't see which can make the pages load slowly. When I use the Safari browser, taskmgr show 100% when I go to facebook, Firefox runs better for me.

The problem probably lies with facebook and not your connection. Try in a few days...

Computer shuts down watching netflix.........1/2 way into a movie Dell Inspiron 1525mj

The most likely thing is that you need to adjust your power savings settings on the computer in Control Panel. Watching a movie doesn't register as "activity" to the system so if you are set to Sleep or Hibernate after an hour that would typically cut you off half way thorught the movie.

You can change the power savings settings or every 30-40 minutes move the mouse around or click the keyboard etc. to restart the timer.

For watching movies using netflix you require to have an high speed broadband connection as your computer slows down go for upgrading ram this can solve the problem.
