Hi, McCulloch chain saws have different mixtures depending on whether you use their brand or generic and is also dependent on the model. The three mixes are 32:1, 40:1 or 50:1. If you are unsure, use the 40:1 and watch the smoke, too much smoke use less mix, but don't run with too little. If you see any coming from the exhaust it is too much and can't burn it all. 50:1 is the mixture for the Jonsered 535. I bought mine new around 1991 and it's been a great saw.

Oil Mix Ratio:
The following ratios have been recommended for the last 10-15 years and is what Husky suggests for your saw..
Dolmar, Echo, Efco, Homelite, Husqvarna, Jonsered, Makita, Oleo-Mac, Red Max, Ryobi, Shindaiwa, Solo, Spear & Jackson, Stihl & Tanaka; all recommend 50:1.
• 1 gallon of premium fuel to 2.6 ounces of quality 2-cycle oil.
• 4 liters of premium fuel to 80 milliliters of quality 2-cycle oil.
McCulloch, Poulan & Wen; recommend 40:1.
• 1 gallon of premium fuel to 3.2 ounces of quality 2-cycle oil.
• 4 liters of premium fuel to 100 milliliters of quality 2-cycle oil.
Chinese chainsaws recommend 25:1.

The header says that it is an electric saw which would only require bar oil. A 2-stroke gas engine, however, does require fuel mixed with a modern saw oil at 40:1 ratio plus bar/chain oil in it's own tank as well. Always premix the fuel and oil in a separate can and shake well even before filling the saw. Hope this helps!
