Digitec DVD ALDV808 player starts loading then says NO DISC, won't play.
Usually, you either have dust on the laser, so it can't see anything, or you have something on your disc (or damage to the inside part of the disc, which tells the player where all the files are). You can try cleaning your disc, but if you've already tried more than one disc, you might be able to find a CD or DVD cleaning disc at an electronics store. If your DVD player plays CDs, either one might work, but if it doesn't play CDs, then you will have to look for a DVD cleaner. As a last resort, you could try getting a can of electronics dusting spray (don't use a vacuum, as the static from a vacuum can damage electronics) and use several quick sprays, while the DVD player is unplugged. Give it a few minutes to dry out, then give the DVD one more try.

SOURCE: Samsung 3650 dvd/vcr player loading problem
Sorry, no suggestion other than don't buy Samsung. That's my conclusion after owning the same model. It worked fine for a while, but now won't load any DVD... usually. Sometimes it will play one, but more often it won't. Mine tries to load ("Loading") for a long time, I hear the DVD spinning, then ultimately the screen displays "This disc cannot be played" or something to that effect.

Toshiba says:
Information for Owners of Toshiba SD-3980 and SD-K750 DVD Players
To ensure the satisfaction of our customers and to maintain the
integrity and quality of our products, Toshiba America Consumer
Products, L.L.C. is issuing an important product update. This is not a
safety issue.
Toshiba is committed to customer service and to continuously
improving the quality of its products. It has come to our attention
that certain DVD players bearing the model numbers SD-3980 and SD-K750
may at some point in their life stop playing discs due to a component
part failure. In such case, the error message "bad" will be shown on
the unit's display. Affected units will have "SU2" at the end of the
model name (e.g., SD-3980-SU2), which can be found on the back of the
unit.
If you own either of these models and experience the issue described
above, please contact Toshiba Customer Solutions at 1-800-631-3811 for
information on how to obtain a replacement unit.

There are a few different cleaning kits out there these days for DVD or CD players. I would recommend one that actually has fibers on it so the it brushes the lense of the DVD player. These cleaning kits can be found just about anywhere. Have you tried to clean it with anything?
SOURCE: DVD Player stops reading disc Error message :
usually this happens when lens cannot read the the disc. Due to few reason
1 Your disk is scratched
2 Your DVD lens is covered with dust
3 You need to replace DVD lens
Try another few CD/DVD to rectify whether there is any problem with dvd you are trying to play
if this error occurs on all the dvd you played then the most likely proble is with your DVD lens
either its coverd with dust use Disk cleaner if not you got to replace a new DVD lense as per model
