SOURCE: Inlet blockage red light flashing

Try turning the machine on its side, undo the bottom and check that the polystyrene float (attached to a switch) is not somehow jammed. This float cuts off the water if the machine leaks internally, and produces the symptoms you describe. It's a really good machine so don't throw it away!!

If that still doesn't help then it might also be the motor brushes, which produce similar symptoms - if your machine starts to fill but then flashes and just drains again, it's almost certainly the brushes. This might be the case after you check the float problem.

SOURCE: the check inlet light flashes. I have cleaned the

If your sure the water way is clear, unplug the unit, plug it back in,
and see if the error is gone, if not, place the water lines into the tub and turn on the water to make sure water is coming into unit, if so the problem lies somewhere else.

Re-post if this didn't help, and say you did this but still have the error.
Good luck, hope it helps.

I have a Miele w828. The wash programme stops and the check inlet indicator light is flashing but the stopcock is on ,the hose is not blocked and the filters are clean. What do I do?

If you have water going in to the machine then it is probably a blocked pressure bag.

If no water is going in to the machine then its probably a faulty inlet valve or blocked inlet filter.

Miele Touchtronic w1203 , the intake and drain fault indicator lights are both flashing at the same time

Seems that the inlet valve or water flow is low , check the inlet flow or check for clogged filter.
Also check the lint filter and the cache filter. remove and clean drain pump. This must solve the issue.

Optima G2430 Miele dishwasher with F13 error

F13 Indicates that you have a water intake fault. The machine is not receiving the the proper amount of water quantity. You could turn off the water supply and disconnect the water inlet hose. There is a filter inside, to remove the filter you have to take out the seal and then you could use a pair of needle nose pliers to take out the filter basket. If the filter is clean you and your water supply is good, you have a problem with your flow meter not registering pulses when the water is taken in.

Miele W1926 check inlet light flashes at he end of rinse fill

Hi Yugin. That indicates your machines water inlet valve is faulty.(Means it's taking less water then normal)Please check this steps & do it fast before water inlet is finishes:1-Turn your machine on & run empty with pre-wash cycle first.2-Please ajar the detergent drawer & check runing water on compartment one 3-Please press pre-wash button & compare the running water volume on compartment two.If the running water volume 1 is less then 2 or vs.water valve needs to be replace. That's causing problem.I hope that helps.Thanks.

Miele W1926 check inlet light flashes at the end of rinse fill. When the fill ends, the light goes off. I cleaned all 4 filters at the intake hoses. The problem still exists. What does it mean?

Hi dear.It sounds like you'll need to change water inlet valve very soon.Because, machine waiting water level to be reach,in specific time frame in chosen program parameters to be get completed. If that does not happen, then it starts giving fault indication.Indication stops after fill, because task been competed & computer disregards the fault. If that won't happen then machine going to get stop completely & indication will carry on.Chage the water inlet valve if you can.I hope that helps. Thanks.

Is there a second filter

You have not posted a brand, however central vacs with an internal hanging `self cleaning ` filter seldom contain another filter with the exception of Eureka or Kenmore which may have a secondary optional paper filter installed. Check the bucket and the gasket first. Eureka and Kenmore made by Eureka are prone to a defective gasket which disintegrates with wear. The bucket should sit snug on any unit with no play.
To test for proper suction check at the vac intake itself. If the suction is strong here and weak elsewhere your problem will be either a clogged vac line, a leak in a pipe or an inlet door sagging open, last of all a clogged or partly clogged hose.
Check your hose by dropping a coin through the handle and shaking it down to the other end. If a coin makes it through your hose is clear.
You can test each inlet with a numbered tissue and your hose. Mark one for each inlet and check the tank to see what made it through. If any fail to make it through, go to that inlet with another vac and draw the blockage backwards out the inlet. Then retest
Also listen for a hiss at each inlet with the hose plugged in elsewhere. The hiss indicates a leak behind the inlet in the wall. Check for worn seals or misaligned o rings in the backing plate where the inlet connects.
Last of all inspect the pie for possible cracks from impact . If you listen closely you will hear an audible echo along the pipe path (even within the wall) if a connection has separated or a pipe is damaged.
Please post back with what you find or if you need more help.

Pre-wash light keeps flashing

The pre wash light flashing is usually an indication that the washer has failed to take in cold water, possibly due to low pressure, or restricted inlet hose.
If it does it when it is the rinse mode, then I would suggest you check the filter is not blocked.
Remove lower rear panel, remove large black hose to bottom of tub
Remove filter inside and clean., check inlet to pump as well.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

I have a brand new Miele dishwasher which has worked grate since it was installed 2 weeks ago. It keeps shutting itself off & indicates an F13 fault. I looked in the manual, see that water is going in...

On my Miele 1220 dishwasher, the inlet filter is inside the inlet hose connector, where it screws onto the water supply. To clean it:
1. Turn off the stopcock. 2. Unscrew the inlet hose. 3. Remove the black rubber seal gently with a screwdriver. 4. Use pliers to remove the inlet filter. 5. Clean the filter under running water. 6. Replace the filter and seal. 7. Reconnect the inlet hose to the water supply, making sure the screw does not thread. 8. Turn on the stopcock slowly to check for any leaks.
