The ?Check ? indicator lamp is flashing, but hoses & filters look good

Front loading machine - The “Check ” indicator lamp is flashing, the operating manual remedy is: 1) the inlet valve is not opened far enough, 2) the inlet hose is kinked, 3) the water pressure is too low.

Filters are clear, hoses are good, plenty of hot & cold input water, output drain is clear (did clear this of coins and paper clips a month a ago, which cleared the drain flashing light, but not the input indicator).

Wash can be done, but stops when running cycle. Have to manually run spin since it stops prior to spin cycle.

9 years old but ran like a champ prior to these indicators lighting up and not the cycle not finishing.

The guts are clean and look like new, but something is not happy.

It stops 1 minute before the end of the cycle and gives an indication F27.

Washer flashing letter

Hi,
The error indicates that there is no water detected entering machine or Pressure switch trip not detected..If after 30 seconds the control does not detect water entering machine and then valves will be turned off and the error code will be displayed.

Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display.
  • If there is no water in the unit:
    1. Make sure that both valves at the water source(s) are turned on all the way.
    2. Check for plugged or kinked inlet hoses or plugged screens in the inlet valves
  • 3. Verify inlet valve operation

  • If there is water in the unit:
    1. Verify Drain pump operation
    2. Pressure Switch Hose is in good condition and properly connected to Tub and Pressure switch

  • Verify there is not a siphon problem

  • Verify wire harness connections to:Inlet Valves, Pressure Switch, Drain Pump, Flow Meter, and Central Control Unit (CCU)
  • Check all hoses for possible leaks
  • Verify pressure switch operation
  • Verify flow meter operation
  • Verify CCU operation

Thank you !!

Machine keeps beeping. Filling and emptying with water and H20 is flashing in the digital display

Hi there,

Well error H20 does indicate no fill.
Make sure that that there is an adequate supply pressure to washer, check that there are no kinks or restrictions in hose. To be certain if you have an adequate supply turn off water valve to washer, disconnect hose and hold the hose into the sink or a bucket, turn the water back on, and see what the pressure is like..
If ti is too low, then the valve will not operate properly.
If you think it is ok then it is quite likely a valve fault, also check the filter built into the valve inlet.
Please post comments for more help or information........

Good Luck!!

Thanks

What does flashing h f mean

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Error HF on your washer means that a water inlet problem has occurred. If after 30 seconds the control does not detect water entering machine and then valves will be turned off and the error code will be displayed. Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display.

If there is no water in the unit:-

  • Make sure that both valves at the water source(s) are turned on all the way.
  • Check for plugged or kinked inlet hoses or plugged screens in the inlet valves
  • Check inlet valve operation.

If there is water in the unit:-

  • Check Drain pump operation
  • Pressure Switch Hose is in good condition and properly connected to Tub and Pressure switch.

However, it is also caused by a clogged drain filter.

Step One: Unplug Washer

Step Two: Remove front Panel from Washer

Step Three: Locate Filter Assembly(and be ready to soak up water with a towel)

Step Four: Remove Filter. It’s Gross. Check for some coins, socks, toothpicks, etc.

Step Five: Clean Filter

Step Six: Replace Clean Filter

Step Seven: Reinstall the Front Panel. Run load of clothes.

Please do rate the solution and revert for further assistance.

Thanks

Flashing lights

Check your exit hose spigot, it may be clogged. This is if your filter is all clean (ref manual) There should be air for passage in the standpipe behind. Your hose should not fit airtight into the standpipe and neither too deep into it (maximum 7 inches). Snaking out your standpipe & drain would be good. All lights flashing indicates you have a block somewhere.

Pl. rate me if helped............

Miele washing machine

All Miele washing machines and dishwashers need to fill in a required time. Flashing inlet (Tap icon) indicates that the machine can not fill in time. There are filters in the end of the hoses which connect to your water supply from the machine and filters in the inlet valves which you can get at by removing the hose from where it fixes onto the machine it'self. You will need some long nose pliers to grab the little tab on the small filter to get it out. Clean all filters and hoses. Still same problem then check the pressure of the water coming into the machine. There should be a good pressure coming out of the hose and will be difficult to stop the flow of water with your finger.
