Oven Not Working

Hi

My Smeg oven won't come on at all. There are no digits appearing in the clock display, other than a small A for 'Automatic'. No time is visible at all. If I turn both swithces (mode and temp) to off, the orange thermostat light comes on when I open the oven door. If I turn either switch to on, it does not come on. The oven does not heat up and there is no movement from the fan. I have tried turning power off to the oven but this does not change anything.

Frigidaire oven won't work. top range works fine, but digital clock and digital display stopped working which works oven, so oven also will not work f11 code

Hello steve o - Typically error code F11 indicates a shorted keypad. Try resetting the range by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. This usually will clear most false error codes. Wait approximately ten minutes and if the error code does not clear contact a professional to move forward accurately. Most likely the EOC on the range will need replacing.

Our smeg oven is not working. the clock is on but the oven and grill will not work? Help!

Check that the oven is on the 'manual cooking' setting rather than Automatic, if its on Auto it will not come on until the time set.

We have Smeg DUCO8CSS double electric oven. Bottom oven does not work, clock is blank and fan doesn't work. Top oven OK ! - though usually the fan runs when this is operating.

If the clock is blank, then the main oven will not work, as the clock timer is linked with the main oven.
You need to to get the clock working, or you will not be able to use the main oven

Oven will not switch on

My Smeg oven will not work either. All I get is an "A" on the display, the clock has disappeared and as a result the oven won't come on. I see from other postings here I can bypass the clock so that the oven works again - can anyone advise how I do this?

Smeg oven SE399X/5 - digital clock issue

I'm glad I'm not the only one with this issue. My husband had the grill on too high and melted the buttons, I thought they weren't going in because of that but we've got new buttons and they're working at one side of the clock and not the other. For the meantime, you can get a thin screwdriver, or something, and poke it through the holes where the buttons would go to substitue. That will get it working in the short term.
