Good Morning Friend,

I understand that the light and alarm are working fine on your Frigidaire freezer, model# FFU2065FW1. I also see that you are receiving power to the control module, however it is blank. I suggest resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Restore power and try adjusting the temperature. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully.

-Best Regards-

SOURCE: Frigidaire Upright freezer with Beeping Display

First make sure you have a good 9v battery installed. If it is ok then the problem will probably be in the display board or the wiring connectors between the boards. CE is communication error. If your model has the electronic tempature control instead of mechanical thermostat the problem could be in there. My bet is a bad connection at display board.

i would make sure that the coils are all clean, inside and out. make sure the fan runs on the back, the water pan isn't over flowing.

Frigidaire Upright freezer the temp indicator light will go blank and the freezer will stop cooling. You can unplug unit wait a bit and plug back in and it will will work for a while

I would guess the control panel is failing, but due to the cost of the part have a technician come out and confirm that is the issue. You can also go to www.partsdirect.com and email the forum

I have the GLFU1467FW0 model Frigidaire freezer, and the temperature alarm won't stop going off. How do I flip it off for good? Pressing the alarm reset button does nothing.

Hello Whywhywhywhyshame, thank you for your post!

Based off the information you have provided the temperature alarm on your Frigidaire freezer will not stop going off. This sounds like a possible problem with your sensor or control panel. I would recommend performing a reset on your freezer and you can do that by flipping the household circuit breaker off for at least ten minutes. If that does not help resolve your issue I would recommend seeking assistance from a professional technician for proper diagnosis and repair. Hopefully this information is helpful. -Matt

The alarm keep going on with no reason on my frigidaire ultrafreeze

Hi michael, thank you for your post!
I understand that you are having a challenge with your Frigidaire freezer's alarm continuously going off. From what you are describing it could be a possible problem with your control panel or sensor. Typically the alarm will go off when the freezer senses a high temperature inside, I would recommend having a professional come out to properly diagnosis your appliance and repair it to avoid any unnecessary part purchases. -Matt

Frigidaire upright freezer

Hello Susan, thank you for your post!

Did your freezer previously experience a power loss? If the temperature of food rises to an unsafe level, the buzzer will sound and the red light, if equipped, will also glow. First, deactivate the alarm to your appliance by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker. Wait approximately ten minutes and then turn on your freezer. After deactivating the alarm and your freezer has run approximately four hours, the red light/alarm should go off on its own. If the red light/alarm continues to stay on, your freezer may possibly have a communication problem with the control board, temperature control or a wiring harness. If this is the case, I would recommend connecting with an experienced technician to determine the underlying cause.
