SOURCE: Saniflo Macerator Noise

If it's a one shot cleaning and not an ongong additive, bleach can be used to dissolve the tissue.

SOURCE: My saniflo macerator plus has

It could be a blockage in the blade, impeller or the discharge line. Also could be a defective starting capacitor, since the capacitor spins the blade and impeller, if the capacitor goes bad it will make the unit hum and not pump out the waste until eventually it shuts off completely and would not kick on and off at all. At this point, the capacitor may have to be replaced. You should contact Saniflo to order parts.

Sanipro xr pumps for 15 mins then wont start up again have to turn the power off and back on for it to pump how do i fix it

Definitely there is a problem with the pressure chamber, it may need to be replaced. The pressure chamber is were all the electrical components are sitted and is what turns the unit on and off. You can always order parts throught Saniflo's technical dept. 800-571-8191

Saniflo permanently on,

If the blade and impeller spin freely by hand after removing the obstruction but does not pump out the waste after assembling the unit back together, then could be a bad capacitor, since the capacitor spins the blade and impeller. If the capacitor goes bad then it will just make a humming noise and not pump the waste out.

My saniflo xr is bolcked i need to remove the top to clean it

Easy - All you need is a "star" driver and a flat blade screwdriver to flip the plastic retaining clips up. You should wear rubber gloves to protect your hands from "nasty stuff" getting into cuts etc. When you get in there it will probably be a bit gunked up. I have previously put the mains cabling into a plastic food bag and taped it up, filled the saniflo up with a warm bleach / water mix and left it for a while.

Give it a swish around and them empty it into a drain. I also have used a hosepipe in the past to really clean it out. Pay attention to the inlet pipes and the area under the float switch / motor.

I would strongly suggest cleaning the actual feed pipes into the saniflo as these get furred up as well.

Good luck!
