Hi I have a Kitchenaid side by side fridge modle..ksrs27cnwhoo.The ice maker is not working, I have checked the following solonide valve, filler tube, door switch and ice maker switch and they all checked out fine. For some reason its not getting the signald to open the solonide to let the water flow
Thanks

I have the same problem. All switches were good. No water going into the ice maker. I removed the ice maker from the freezer and removed the cover over the control module. I found that the control switch (white driven gear with copper on the back) broke. The control switch is plastic and it along with a plastic adapter broke. I hooked up the motor to 120V and it does turn so I think that replacing the control module is going to take care of my problems. I had the same symptoms a couple of years with no ice. The fridge was still under warranty though so I don't know what the service guy did to repair the problem. It sucks to have to repair this thing every coupld of years.
Wtf why aint this expensive **** working
Check to see if there is a bin switch one that checks for the amount of ice in the bin..replace or check that the nozzles arent blocked.
