I have the same problem. All switches were good. No water going into the ice maker. I removed the ice maker from the freezer and removed the cover over the control module. I found that the control switch (white driven gear with copper on the back) broke. The control switch is plastic and it along with a plastic adapter broke. I hooked up the motor to 120V and it does turn so I think that replacing the control module is going to take care of my problems. I had the same symptoms a couple of years with no ice. The fridge was still under warranty though so I don't know what the service guy did to repair the problem. It sucks to have to repair this thing every coupld of years.

Check to see if there is a bin switch one that checks for the amount of ice in the bin..replace or check that the nozzles arent blocked.

Buzzing sound Kitchen Aid fridge Model KBLA20EMSS

It may be the arm in the ice maker is down. Even though the ice maker does not have the water hooked up if the arm above the ice bin is down it will still cycle the ice maker try lifting up the arm it should stay up this signals the ice maker that the bin is full and should shut off the ice maker. Hope this helps.

Frigidaire KSRA22 CNWHOO Side-by-Side refrigerator, Serial # SS1241434 I just changed the filter in my Frigidaire refrigerator. It had stopped making ice when the filter light came on. However, now...

Are you getting any water.
If you push the tab for water any you hear a buzzing or humming sound with no water then it could be you water pump which is located at the back of the fridge.
Just follow the water line and you will find it .
It's a small pump

Ice maker will not dispense the ice

The auger motor and coupling in the rear may be frozen and won't turn.
Remove the ice bin.
Place a screwdriver or similar device in the forks of the auger and twist counterclockwise till it moves. The replace the ice bin and try again.
It will be difficult to move.
If that does not work. Turn off the fridge and use a hair dryer to hrat the auger gear and motor till it frees up.

Kitchenaid fridge (ksrw25crss02)icemaker slowly stopped working, decreasing in the amount of ice it made until finally no ice at all. also, water trickles from water dispencer.

hi kev215,
welcome to fixya.com.

Huuum at your service.

You said, the ice maker slowly stopped working, decreasing in the amount of ice it made until finally no ice at all. also, water trickles from water dispenser.

The first thing I would ask is when did you last change your water filter in the fridge?
Or if it's an older fridge with an inline filter behind the fridge!
check the shut off valve for the water line that leads to you ice maker. under the sink or in the basement or where ever the line comes from. I've seen where someone turned the valve a little clockwise unbeknown to the home owner and stopped or slowed the water flow.

The water line should be checked too, for any kinking that may be running behind the fridge or some unseen place!

How old is the fridge??

Let me know,
Thank you Huuum

KITCHENAID MODEL KSRJ25CNST-00 FRIDGE QUIT MAKING ICE WITH OUT ANY WARNING. WTER IS WORKING.

I have this model and it has stopped making ice for two different reasons. These solutions may not fix your particular problem, but they worked for me.

Problem #1: the water inlet to the ice tray is frozen shut.
Solution #1: Raise the door that hides the ice tray. The water inlet is the black rubber nozzle on the right-hand side that points down into the ice maker. Squeeze the rubber nozzle between your fingers to break up any ice that may have formed inside the nozzle. This will clear the water path into the ice maker. Lower the ice tray door.

Problem #2: an ice cube is stuck in the ice tray.
Solution #2: Raise the door that hides the ice tray. Look for any pieces of ice that were not completely ejected from the ice tray - they are usually partially ejected and are very easy to see. Carefully (but it may require a good deal of force) remove ice cube from tray. Lower the ice tray door.

I hope this helps.
