Well, all I can tell you is FORMAT IT! There should be something in your camera's settings that says format card. If there isn't something in the settings you need to format it by computer. To format it by computer, plug the card in, find it in My Computer and right-click on it. click Format... When the window opens, make sure it will format the card in the needed for the camera. If you don't know, try Fat32. UNCHECK THE QUICK FORMAT BOX! Formatting is formatting, no matter what. Why rush through it and possibly have errors in the future? Now, click format and just wait, this my take a few minutes. When it's done, safely remove the card and put it in your camera. if it didn't work, your gonna have to plug it into your computer and do it all over but instead of Fat32, try NTFS or if your computer has it, fat. I HIGHLY reccommend that you do not do it by computer though. only through your camera. I am 99.999% sure your camera has something in the settings for it. Why yell at you to format it if it won't even give you the appropriate means of doing it?
Hope this helps,
Dan

When I put the memory card in my camera it says needs formatting.
well when i plug in the card it doesn't show that it is plugged in.
there is nothing in my computer.
and when i try to format it on my camera it says that everything on the card will be deleted.
but i did it anyway, then it says "formating.." but it went right back to the same screen that the card needs to be formatted.
it doesn't let you preess anything else well it gives me this message so i don't know how i would format it on the card.
thanks,
jackie
