SOURCE: Fisher & Paykel "clog Problem"

the water comes through 2 vavle 1 for washing and the other for rinsing more than likely that the rinse valve is down it will need replacing thats the more common fault for washers not rinsing

SOURCE: Too many suds

Error #37 is a pump blocked error. Says that machine has not drained out. Check that the pump is not blocked (by removing the top, agitator and basket) or that the drain outlet is not too high. ( maximum height for drain outlet is 7'). If you do end up throwing the thing out, I'll give you something for the motor controller circuit board as I think mine is faulty.

Hi there
That fault is the pump blocked error (no change in water level).
i have a quick and easy way to solve this problem.

first turn the machine off then tilt the machine back and lean it on something(a chair or wall), look underneath, in the top right hand corner of the plastic outer boul you will see a small pump motor it has a fan on it spin this fan and if it is hard to turn that means there is somthing stuck in the drain pump keep turning the fan and try to free whatever is stuck in the pump, then try the machine on spin again all goin well the object in the pump should come out with the drain water(doing this will not harm the machine) if the object is still stuck you will need to get the water out of the machine (bailing or siphioning will work) and tilt the machine back again and take the wires off the pump and there should be a white tab on the boul holding the pump on pull this tab and twist the pump anticlockwise about a quarter turn(you will need a few towels or a boul or bucket to catch the water) and it should come off exposing the blockage.
Hope this solves your Problem.

SOURCE: how do I take apart my fisher & paykel top

Hi just read your posting. Now if you look under the machine to the front right you will see a fan. This is your pump.Turn the fan a few times to loosen it.The fan should turn freely.Put the machine back on its feet and select a spin cycle and push the start button. The machine should start to drain. Please reply on how you got on or if the machine still does not drain or for further assistance.Looking forward to your reply.

SOURCE: Fisher Paykel Washer IWL 12 error codes 130 & 240

Had the same problem cleaned the terminals worked for a bit and came back. The problem is that the little circit board that the plug goes onto that sits between the winding of the motor the copper tracks are so small and they corrode. If you are handly with a solding iron you can replace the tracks with small wire, its mainly on one leg of each of the transistors that are all parrelled up. You can tell because it goes black. Or the easy way just take off the motor unpluging the sense plug then the three main power connectors Yellow, blue and red making sure you mark the correct order to put them back on. The sensor board just pulls out of the windings with a little arrow to but it back in the right place and buy the small board it has the part number on it to find it on the web. I only has three bits on it can't be expensive. Soldered mine up works a treat make sur you clean up the plug aswell, it mainly played up in humid weather.

Fisher & Paykel WL26CW1 - Error Code 49! can i swap the hot and cold valves to make it work and disconect the hot valve?? and love this site very informative, Thanx Guys..

The most common problem with AquaSmart is the pump
not the water valves
The pump has gone bad and blown some parts in the motor controller board and the fuse to the water valves.
Some AquaSmart machines display the wrong Error code (49)
witch is not the correct code for this problem.
Pump and motor controller board need replacing.
Maybe cheaper to buy a good secondhand machine.

My aquasmart fisher and paykel washing machine flashes up with error 235 about 2 mins after starting

Sounds like the 'lid lock' has shorted out. They're not completely waterproof and have seen pins completely blown out inside them. Should measure 73 ohms (or very close to it) across the terminals. Hope this helps.
