My Brother NX200 has stopped working it does not beep when I switch it on

1. Button failure
2. Circuit failure

Not clear what tension issues are involved.

ALWAYS RAISE the presser foot when threading the top thread.

Tension is correct when both top and bobbin threads meet in the middle of the fabric. Tension is a tug of war. The top thread pulls bobbin thread up and bobbin thread pulls top thread down.

Most machines have sounds that cannot be turned off. You can probably try contacting Brother support.

Presser foot sensor/switch is either stuck or broken.

the machine should be checked to see if there is something wrong with the bobbin spindle..

Sounds like a possible computer issue--possibly a computer component is failing.

turn the sewing machine completely off
rethread the machine the top thread & bobbin, if possible use a different spool of thread for top & bobbin
then turn the sewing machine on again & see if you still get the same message, if the same message still displays,,then it needs to be serviced

it is possible the power cord has gone out,,or the power cord receptacle has gone out
i've been working on a sewing machine that they connected the power cord & disconnected it so much that they pushed the pins out of there sockets

or the on/ off switch has gone out

Remove the foot pedal before you turn it on.

I am taking it to the Brother repair shop.
