Do not connect to electricity at this point claim a little work area put a blanket down as you are going to strip it all down into little bits clean and then put it all back,
Take apart power cable unwrap, unclip middle glass cylinder section to empty rubbish out, there should be a filter at the base that you can see now unclip clean put back, empty rubbish out of cylinder clean base and top rubber section and filter section with fine brush, use a wet cloth to wipe clean all black rubber suction connectors put back, at the back there will be a hose connector at the base unplug clean put back and make sure no debris is in any of the connectors and underneath where the floor brush is before you start puting it all back , Hope this helps

My Dyson Vacuum DC24 suction loss.

You sound pretty savvy in your troubleshooting. Take a look at this video. You may have a split in one of your three suction hoses. I tried to find a video for a DC24 but to no avail. These two models are pretty close and this video should help you out.

Lg 300B no suction through hose

If you have a loss of suction overall, that generally means one of two things, either you have a clog somewhere near the motor or the motor is fried and will never turn fast enough to make proper vac.

Suction loss?

hi samdan... have you checked all the hose attachment vents .. ie Under the vacuum as well... How long is it since you replaced the filters?

Try giving the Yellow cone inside a blow out. these tend to become clogged from time to time!
