try holding power button in for about 50 seconds. Then try pressing power button again. Could be locked up. make sure no other display screen is plugged into laptop. make sure nothing plugged into USB port at boot up.
This is a common problem that I run into. The battery will show charged when it really isn't. Take out the battery, plug the charger into the computer and try turning it on. If this works, you have a bad battery and it will need to be conditioned or replaced. If this doesn't work it could be a serious hardware issue.
Please plug also the power cord to the power source then wait for 10 - 20 minutes to charge the battery of your laptop then after the said time given above please turn on the laptop and see if your laptop is working now. Else if it is not then try to contact computer technician and let that person check the problem of your laptop Most of the problem causes of software and hardware.
do a hard reset....remove charger>remove peripherals>remove battery> press and hold the power button for about 30secs, while batt and charger is removed> then plug in the charger only and turn ON!
2 Suggestions:
1) It may be that the battery isnt charged, let the unit charge fully
2) If that doesnt work, its probably time to send the unit back to sandisk
