JBL CREATURE II Computer Sattelite Speakers Sound Problem

The right sattelite is way louder as if the sound is only coming from that right sattelite, the left one produces sound tho but it's so low you can hardly hear it, the sattelites are not balanced and you cannot interchanged the cables since its shape and color coded, can you help me with this?

we have the same problem. We have taken the plug in plug to pieces and connected it to the other channel to find that the speaker works ok. Suggests that the fault lies with the connection in the swoofer

Can JBL Creature 2 speakers work on a Samsung smart tv

Do you happen to have the model of the TV? My Samsung only has two digital optical outputs. If your'e plugging in JBLs, you may only have an analogue input which won't work.

One of the jbl creature speakers doesn't work

I had the same problem one time and it was a loose connection in the speaker. I will work on any computer but I stay away from anything else. :-) A buddy opened her up and fixed her for me. If it is new, think about taking it back to the store. Thank goodness the prices have come down so much that I am considering getting Bose instead and blasting myself onto the wall behind me. :-)

How do the wires go into the back of the creature?

First go to this site and download and install this codec pack. Also, make sure you have your speakers set as you default sound device.

JBL Creature 2 are a computer speaker system designed and sold by JBL. The system is made up of two satellite speakers and an omni-directional subwoofer. The speaker system connects directly to a computer's available sound card output jack or a laptop's stereo output jack. Occasionally, problems can occur with the sound quality and connection with the speaker system. If there is no sound coming from the speakers, check the cable connections. Ensure the satellite speakers are firmly connected to the matching jacks on the back of the Creature's subwoofer. The connections are color coded and, in addition, each speaker connector is shaped differently to fit only into one jack. Ensure the output cable is firmly connected to the subwoofer audio in jack and the computer's audio-out jack. Ensure the power button on the back of the subwoofer is pushed inward. If everything is connected properly, the green lights on the underside of the satellite speakers will glow.If there is still no sound, tap the right-hand side audio-increase button on the right satellite speaker until sound is heard. Also ensure there is audio playing from the computer. Double check the lower right-hand side of the window's main screen and look for a speaker icon. If the icon has a red slash over it, click the icon and uncheck the "mute" option.

Hope this helps

There is no sound coming out of one of my speakers (the one with volume control). The green light underneath comes on and the volume control itself works but no sound comes out of it.

make sure the balance is set properly in the volume controls tab located by right clicking on the speaker icon in the lower right hand side in the startup tool bar

JBL Creature Speakers have very low volume

I had the same problem. Then I read about the volume controls on the right speaker. They are silver buttons for me on the front bottom left and right of the speaker. Now they play really loud!
