you are going to have make and model ## of the car stereo, if GM
still go to have model ## off the back of stereo and what would be better is a part number would be very good.

It would be a Stewart Warner radio. The schematic is available as a JPG for a $1 download. But most likely, not nessesary as the components are very accessable and visually troubleshot.

I have a GE Model 326 radio/phonograph and cannot get the turntable to turn. Any suggestions?

You can find a wiring diagram for your 87 monte at http://www.modifiedlife.com/1987-chevrolet-monte-carlo-car-audio-wiring-schematic/ You can refer to the installation manual for your deck at http://akamaipix.crutchfield.com/Manuals/130/130AVHP570.PDF Since you are removing a shaft style radio and installing a DIN style you will need to perform extensive modifications to your dash. The Pioneer manual provides the dimensions.
