My mp3 player won't turn on unless it's plugged in to usb port it's brand new the second i unplug it it turns back off it's got the songs on it i have charged it for 24 hours but still will only turn on when charging

thats because it doesn't charge plugging it in lets you sync files from your comp it runs on batteries open the usb cover then slide the bottom off to replace the battery.

I PLUGGED IN MY MP3 PLAYER TO THE COMPUTER AND THE SCREEN ON MY MP3 PLAYER LIGHTS UP BUT the normal screen image for when you normally plug it into the computer ISN'T THERE AND I CAN'T ADD MUSIC ON MY MP3 PLAYER.
