Pioneer vsx 52

I am trying to work out which has got the high volume.
If it is the Pioneer then it could be the volume control chip that is faulty. These days volume is no longer determined by a control that adjusts the signal level. The signal is passed to a chip and the volume control setting information is also passed to the same chip. If the chip goes faulty then the volume will sometimes go to max, regardless of the volume control setting. This can also apply to the TV sound as well.
If the sound level is high on other functions of the receiver, such as the radio, then it is certain to be the sound volume control IC.

When first turned on the unit is at max volume.

Look in the setup menu for a selection for volume level. There should be a way to setup what volume level the unit comes on at.

LG 15LW1R audio is weakening

I found with mine that the volume of the LG is dependent upon the volume setting of the main source TV. Set the volume for the source TV louder and the LG should respond accordingly. Maybe it's just the way I have it hooked up (and maybe yours is the same)... YMMV

Volume goes all the way up by itself

1. The volume up button on the remote may be stuck down- try wiggling the button to get it out. If it isn't the remote if the local volume control is in fact two buttons perhaps that one is stuck in or damaged.

2. The dvd sounds like it needs a new laser unit- a worn laser unit may play up like this.
It might be time for a new one as replacement can be sometimes more than the cost of a new one nowdays!

Lg 47 inch tv sound

We had the same problem of pathetic sound quality and volume with a sony brava. Thats just the way they make tv's these days because most people buy a surround sound system as well. We bought logitec computer surround sound speakers for about $140 and plugged into the ear jack, problem solved, we have heaps of volume and stacks of bass.

Volume using remotes either ramps to max or all the way down

Go into the service menu and reset the main board.
