Based on your description, it sounds like your Blaupunkt 32-inch flatscreen TV may have a damaged screen. The ink-like appearance and brief flicker followed by a dark screen are indicative of a physical crack or damage to the screen.
It is possible that the TV was able to function normally after the fall, but over time the damage to the screen worsened and is now causing the issues you are experiencing. Unfortunately, this type of damage is typically not repairable and would require a replacement of the entire screen, which can be costly.
If the TV is still under warranty, you may be able to get it repaired or replaced through the manufacturer. Otherwise, you may need to consider purchasing a new TV if the cost of repairing the screen is prohibitive
Not sure whether you can get replacement under warranty if the TV fell off and was damaged. If it was wall mounted and the bracket broke or collapsed you could claim from the bracket supplier or the installer. But if it was on a stand sitting on a table and was knocked down then there is not much that can be done.
Best to call the place from where you purchased the TV and ask what they say.

if you do not find your warranty card for the tv. Phone the shop that sold you the tv and ask them. Have the registration number handy when you talk to them.
you will probably be able to find that in the menu under Settings- general- about,
best of luck

The set needs a new LCD if it looks cracked and swirly, the colors all run together in the area of the crack don't they! If it is cracked it can't be fixed. you can replace the lcd but I am not sure if a warranty will cover a cracked screen or not. You will need to contact LG and be very nice to them and see if they will honer the warranty on this.
Talk to the tv compannies costumer service, think u out luck, they will not honor the warrety, because screen crack damage, the tv is worthless as whole tv,only now might basic inter salvage eclectronic circuits boards parts.
If the screen cracked from daily use and was not cracked on the outside of the set, then you are entitled to a replacement or to have the tv repaired under warranty from a manufacturing defect. If the outer glass panel is not damaged and the internal screen is,then call the manufacturer.
Your right, it's called "Vertical Collapse", it's caused by the vertical output IC, which may be dry jointed or failed, try applying new solder to it if you can, if that does not work, you will need to replace the IC. A simple test to test for dry joints (where the solder is cracking and not causing proper connection from the pins to the board). If you give the unit a bit of a hit you may see the picture return to normal... don't do this too often as you can make more damage.
