If Microsoft is asking for a code when you boot up then thats the Product Key or Activation Code for your operating system, It will be a 25 digit number located on your Intstall disc or computer tower.
Good luck i hope this helps.

Black screen on TCL 48FS4610

The back lights are drawing too much current and therefore the power to them is not coming on. The led strips are driven to maximum intensity and when one goes out the current changes and is sensed by the power supply.

Power button not working!!! This is different though....

This is a common problem that I run into. The battery will show charged when it really isn't. Take out the battery, plug the charger into the computer and try turning it on. If this works, you have a bad battery and it will need to be conditioned or replaced. If this doesn't work it could be a serious hardware issue.

I just bought this TV - LG -32LD350, and I plugged it in, and no lights came on, no screen, no sounds, nothing. I don't know what is wrong with it, I tried unplugging it then plugging it back in after...

Plug it then use tester to check the wire that connects from the transformer to the panel, if there is no current then The power transformer is bad, replace it and every thing will work fine.

Hi. Have just turned on my HP Pavillion m8000 and the screen and it does nothing. The screen is getting no signal and even though the computer is on, it isn't starting up as usual. Help!!! I've checked all...

hi

it could be that your power supply (from tower) is not working -- does the fan blow out air ?
if not replace the power supply. If the power supply is on but no video on screen showing , it could be your mainboard inside the tower, thats if no noise is coming from the tower.

what were the circumstances when you worked on he computer ? was it plugged in overnight while running or was the power cord attached to tower while plugged into wall ? if so, it mnay have experienced a power surge and blew the mainboard.. too much current going to tower could blow the power supply, causing the mainboard to have received excess current

Nothing comes up on the screen when i turn the computer on, the power light is on but nothing shows up on the screen

Try pressing Fn + F2 key after turning the computer on. Try to perform power drain. Taka out the battery and unplug the adapter. Presss and hold the power button for 30secs. Put the battery back in and plug in your power adapter then turn on the computer.

Let me know if you will still be getting the same issue.

Korg Triton Le keyboard not working

Hello! My Triton LE did that yesterday at rehearsal room. It came on twice (by turning it off and on every time the error message appeared), I could play the auditions and demos but when i hit the keys i heard nothing.

Soon after I went home (still with sweat on my forehead and my heart pumping like a pneumatic drill) I connected it and everything was working like nothing ever happened!

So guys, everybody who has the same problem: Don´t panic! I think for me, the power plug at the rehearsal room had a problem. Who thinks of that? Nobody... So check your keyboard on another power plug...If you can, try it in a friends house. Or check your house plugs.

I assume if the Keyboard doesn´t get enough power, the error message appears. Hope that Helps!

I hook everything up and turn it on but i get nothing

if you just built a new pc, and hooked up your power button and reset button and mixed up the possitive and negitive wires you may have fried your motherboard. If you hold the power button for five seconds and your pc does not power down, it's fried.
