LSu error in Workcentre pe220 printer

plz solve my problume in my printer workcenter pe220 lsu eror and not working this time to help me plz

R/sir,
I have a Fax machine of Xerox make model PE220.From BSNL line connectivity is allways out of order.I want to connect FIXED CELLUR TERMINAL (FCT).After conecting machine give dial tone for outgoing calls.and other end caller received a fax tone on their machine when they want to make a call on my machine.But printer is not printing after some LCD diplayed a massage communication error.Kindly GUIDE me for change in settings.

This is an Issue with the Laser Unit. you can try to Plug it off from the socket and leave it for 10 min and try reconnect if this does not work it could be a genuine error and needs and technical visit

LSU stands for Laser Scanner Unit. Depending on the model this should come up only if the services used required scanning such as copy, fax sending, scanning.
nevertheless if this is a continuous message you might need to check the connectors within the scanner which I advise an field call.

Remove the jammed paper. Unplug the printer from the mains and PC. Inspect the rollers, etc for tiny paper piece(s) that may be stuck, or other debris. Try to clean rollers and make sure they are dry.
Keep printer unplugged for about 2 minutes and replug and try a test print.
Also make sure that you have waited long enough for the printer to heat up before giving a print job.
Finally, it could be an issue with the paper sensor. If this is the case, you will probably have to take the printer in for servicing..

Do you have the old cartridge? Because the message you are getting makes no sense if you can copy and not print.
The chip on the cartridge may be corrupting the machine software.
I will explaine why I say this. LSU fault, is a failure of the laser unit within the printer/copier. If it had failed, you should not be able to copy or print, The machine should not function. The laser unit is what makes the image on the drum. So neither print or copy should work if that was a true LSU code.
Did you purchase a cartridge made by another company other than Xerox? If so try returning it.
As I say, an LSU code should make the machine totally unpoerable, not partially functional.
I would try the old cartridge if you have it to see what happens.
Let me know if you have tried swapping cartridges and I will look into this more for you.

What model printer is this? The C2424 does not have a laser.
Are you 100 percent sure it is a model C2424?
There is no LSU status code for that machine.
