1. Reboot the machine: Sometimes a simple reboot can clear up temporary issues. Turn off the machine, wait a few minutes, and then turn it back on.
2. Check the hard drive connections: Make sure all the connections between the hard drive and the machine are secure. If any connections are loose or damaged, reset them or replace them if necessary.
3. Update or reinstall the firmware: Sometimes updating the machine's firmware can resolve communication errors. Check Xerox's website for the latest firmware version for your Workcentre C128 model.
4. Reset the machine to factory settings: If other solutions don't work, you may need to reset the machine to its factory settings. Keep in mind that this will erase all settings and data, so make sure to back up any important.
HOW TO RESET FORGOTTEN PASSWORN ON A XEROX 7435
If the default username and password (admin/1111) are not working on your Xerox 7435 printer, you can try resetting the password to its default settings using the following steps:
Turn on the printer and wait for it to boot up completely.
Press the button with a wrench icon on the printer's control panel to enter the settings menu.
Use the arrow keys to navigate to the "Security" option and press the OK button.
Select the "User Authentication" option and press OK.
Enter the current password, if you remember it. If you don't remember it, leave it blank.
Select the "Reset User Accounts" option and press OK.
Select the "Restore Defaults" option and press OK.
Confirm that you want to restore the default settings by selecting "Yes" and pressing OK.
After you have completed these steps, the printer's password will be reset to the default settings (admin/1111). You should now be able to log in to the printer's settings menu using these credentials.

Hai this is Arun. If your motherboard gets power but the computer not starting then there are two solutions :
- Unplug the wire that is coming from the power switch to the motherboard & plug it again.
- If it is still not starting, then remove your CMOS battery and insert it again in the motherboard.
