Baird 47inch LCD TV PERFECT PICTURE BUT NO picture

First thing to check is mute, if its not muted then you have an issue with the main board or power board..without the model I don't know if the voltage for the sound circuitry comes from the power supply or if its processed in the main board.

Hi I have a Hitachi Ultravision Television Model No. 42V715 I have a steady lamp and no picture or sound. If the lamp is my total issue, where can I find a lamp and is it easy to replace myself?

Go to Hitachi.com and put in the model# of your tv. The manufactruer has made it to where you the comsumer can change the lamp yourself. Use a vacume to clean out any dust. Hope this helps.

Hitachi tv no picture

It sounds like the tuner demodulator has failed. Many times I have found that it is cheaper to buy an external hi-def tuner than repair the one that is in the set. The fact that the tuner is finding channels but not displaying them is a good sign that the demodulator has failed. In one case I had with Sony rear projector, it would have been $800 to repair the internal hi-def tuner and the customer can buy an external tuner for $100-$200. Sorry if this is not the answer you wanted; if you fel this si a good response to your question, please be sure to rate me,. Thanks!

Hitachi 60FX20B

If you hear the unit comming on and theres no sound or Picture, then theres a fault in the horizontal sweep/HI Voltage circuit. This should not be fooled with unless you know the safty issues with HI voltage as theres voltage in these sets even after they are unplgged for a while. Good Luck

Free TV

It probably has a broken mirror or somethings inside the set blocking part of the pic. Now for ther picture all red. If your not a tech I highly advise you going insidew this . Unless you know about the saftey issues and the HI voltage issues. Your problem could be a shorted Picture tube all the way to na bad distribution block . Good Luck
