Canon ir5070 i have an error code e100-00001 what does this mean

How to reset E000, E001, E003, and E007
Canon IR2016, IR2020
Enter the service mode by pressing "additional function" key, "2" and "8" keys in that order. SSSW will display. Press "OK" key.
Change Bit switch 1, bit 0 (might display as the first one on the left using number keys) status, (change 1 to 0 or 0 to 1).
Press "OK" then Press "Stop" or "Additional Function key" to end service mode or restart the machine.

1) Wiring Is the connection of the connector (CN8) on the power supply PCB and the connector (J103) on the DC controller PCB and the wiring to the fixing assembly normal? NO : Correct the connection and wiring. 2) Fixing assembly Try replacing the fixing assembly. Is the fault corrected? YES : End. 3) Power supply PCB, DC controller PCB Try repacking the power supply PCB. Is the fault corrected? YES : End. NO : Replace the DC controller PCB. 4) Error With the power switch ON, clear E000 through E004; then, turn off and then on the power switch.

hi, your copier show any error in the screen? how long does it keep warming up ( it should be less than 3 minutes)

Its related to the fixing temp. do the error clear on service mode. then check the fixing film assy. heater circuit contact points for corrosion. Replace it.

the error 14 is fixing unit error a dn 584 is finisher shutter error
first disconnect the finisher and solve the fixing error 14
reset the error
copier>function>clear>err>ok and reboot
once the unit is ready to copy run 10 copies to confirm
then connect the finisher and solve the next error 584

The error code you have is a toner hopper error code.... Try to take the toner bottle out and close the toner door and turn the Main power switch OFF. Turn the copier back ON and let the copier come back to Ready and install the toner bottle back in and see what happens.... There maybe a problem with the toner hopper and you may need to call a service tech in.... Good Luck

The motor sensor or sensors, the DC controller on the main board DC controller.
