I have an HTC 3300(SPV M650) with WM6.1 in french language and after I instaled two english programs it was blocked and I could not connected at my desktop. Unfortunally I have at my smartphone the french version of active sync 4.5 and at my desktop all programs are in english inclusiv the OS. Can I repair the connection betwen HTC and computer? The english programs instaled in HTC are Touchshell and Memmaid. Thanks for your answer!

This may be a simple case of removing all the entire active sync directory. If you used to connect via serial+com it wont be detected on usb. Remove active sync from your pc via the add remove program feture, then reboot and re install. Then run the make a connection again from active sync. Hope this helps

What version of ActiveSync are you using? Open ActiveSync on the PC, then open "About ActiveSync" under the "Help" menu - it should be version 4.5. If not, download version 4.5 from Microsoft as a first attempt to fix the problem. If you are using 4.5, try uninstalling/reinstalling again but make sure you do a soft reset (push the pin on the top of the device) before you connect the Ipaq. If this doesn't work let me know and we'll try some other things.
