According to the microsoft site your external hard drive which is the Samsung G2 HX-MU050DC doesn't need any additional software it is automatically installed when connected..Maybe try to connect it to other USB port I preferred you connect it at the back of your CPU..If this doesn't work try to connect your external hard drive to other computer if it still doesn't work. sad to say but the problem is your external hard drive..

I've upgraded from wm2003SE to wm6.1 alkor rc2.2 rom.
remember that you must hold down the two buttoms at the same time then push in the reset for 2 sec (holding it in). release the 2 buttoms then remove the stylus for the reset port. after about 4 sec press & release the reset buttom again, sytem will pwr up. If this doesn't resolve the issue then try the clean reset but bear in mind u will loss any thing u installed on the ipaq as system go to default setting and u will be required to align the screen. good luck
Try using your finger to calibrate the screen at first. (If you have difficult to navigate to the alignment screen use the stylus & keyboard to feel out your way) when calibrated to an accepable degree use the stylus to calibrate the sreen, if the target doesn't respond to stylus at any specific piont use your finger. Continue this process till u get it aligned as best as possible. I suspect this problem is caused by specific points on the screen going bad.
I had the same issues as mentioned installing TomTom Navigator version 7 onto a HP IPAQ 2415 running Windows Mobile 5. As soon as TomTom was installed the sound stopped working.
I did a Hard Reset to restore the IPAQ which got the sound back. I then downloaded the trial version of WinCE Cab Manager http://www.ocpsoftware.com/products.php?nm=cecabmgr and used this to remove the files Btcoreif.dll and Btsdkce30.dll from the TomTom installation CAB. I saved the cab and then ran this again and it installed perfectly and I still had sound. Hope this offers a solution for anyone still having a problem.
