It opens my oovoo but then it say that there is no internet connection and my internet is working fine

best thing you could do is check you Anti virus settings and see if it's blocking it and check you firewall to see if it's blocking it. if so then add it to the list of exceptions.

Formatted pc and now its not detecting internet connection.. checked ipconfig but loks like my pc doesn't show no IP address.... everything else in d pc works fine except for the internet connection....

Did you reformat with the manufacturer's discs? If not, you are likely missing the LAN drivers for your NIC (Network INterface Card). Right-click on My Computer and select Manage. this will bring up the Device Manager screen, and if you see a yellow question mark next to the LAN driver then this is the reason.

Probably the modem. It might have gotten a power surge if there was a storm recently. Or it's just broken down, eventually they do. Good luck.

USB

Its more likely that there could be a loose connection to the motherboard. If not try to attach some ports to the same place on the motherboard and if they also dont work motherboard at fault if they do obviously your old ports are dead for some reason. Good luck.
