The common issue with this oven seems to be that hinges become defective and heat escapes through the oven door. I removed the door, and the hinges are fine, but the door was slightly bent which I believe I have mostly fixed. Upon testing after, I realized that there is far more heat escaping through the top of the stove, particularly the back 1/3. It gets so hot that I can't even hold my hand an inch away from the back 1/3 of stove for more than an instant. The oven takes 30 minutes to get up to 400 degrees, and can't go any higher than this temperature. Any ideas? Thank you!
Gas stoves vent direct to back of cooktop. They do get really really hot. you can warm food for free while baking. Check your broil and bake elements are both running.

Thanks Aaron. I checked and bake heats from the bottom (not top and bottom, but I can't tell if there is supposed to be both), and the broil works on top. Also, I tried to feel around and the heat seems to come from the middle of the back half of the bottom while the front middle of the bottom doesn't produce heat (maybe that's just where the heating element is). I also timed it again last night and it legitimately took more than 30 minutes to reach 400 degrees, and the heat coming out of the middle back of the cooktop is ridiculous. Any other ideas why this takes so long to get up to temp, and why it can't break 410-415 or so? Thanks again!

SOURCE: Oven will not heat past 220 degrees
Check your bake element, I had the exact same problem and found the bake element had burned in half. The broil element comes on during preheat and kicks off at around 220 degrees.

Replace the bake igniter in the bottom of the oven. It corrodes over time and as the resistance increases it finally reaches a point where the voltage is two low to open the gas valve. It's a ten minute job and the part cost $45-65.

not a sensor, but more likely a bad oven ignitor(glow bar) its located under the ovne floor and mounted to the side ofthe bake bar. simple emough to unscrew and unplug, replacethepart yourself
SOURCE: amana ACS3350AS stove temp in oven stays at 100
We had the same problem and it turned out to be a burned out lower heating element. Only the top one was heating and I could never get it over about 150deg or so.
