sounds like your ignition switch under steering colum has gone bad autozone or dealer should have new one if this was helpful please leave me good feedback
Well, I don't know what exactly you had hooked up but, the yellow wire from the Pioneer connects to the vehicle battery wire(light green) behind the radio, the red wire goes to the vehicle's accessory wire(yellow/black).There doesn't seem to a ground wire listed for this vehicle behind the radio so, you have to ground the radio to chassis (some metal behind the radio). This should handle your power issue.
under the steering colum near fuse box, brake pedal, gas pedal area. and if you don't know where to hook it up at, odds are you don't know how to fix the problem with your $100 scan tool. Put your nose in some books and learn before you try. That or find someone who will walk you through it.
You could try a Salvage yard if you know what it looks like. Then I would think the Dealer may have a harness and experience with Ford radios. Radio Shack maybe, then last would be a Stereo shop but you need to know if they are a good installer. You would not want electrical problems after they work on it.
Buy a wiring harness for your car at a car stereo shop ($25) then match the colors up -EASY If you don't have a car stereo shop close by try crutchfield.com Good Luck
Well you need to remove the center instrument panel then disconnect the connectors behind it then remove the 4 screws that hold the radio in and unplug the connectors behind it. You might have to take your truck to the dealer to get your radio programmed to your truck that is right around the year that was one of the procedures. So if you change your radio and things in your truck start acting goofy and the radio doesn't work cantact your local Ford dealer with that question. Good luck.
