Most aftermarket pioneer cd/radio decks have the electrical connector for the antenna that I've seen.
Is this a cd only deck, or does it have radio functions?
Did you use a new harness wiring adapter to get the pioneer radio to work with the old harness?
There should be a color coded set of wires for the power antenna on that. And, then the Pioneer radio should have wires that were labeled for the power antenna.
Try chrutchfield. It is easy to spend a couple of bucks for a adapter. Then you just wire the radio an plug it in to the factory harness. You can also try any local box store that installs radios, they will have the adapter harness.Well hope this helps.
I would get an adapter harness that will plug into your existing vehicle plug, and the wires are color coded to match up to most aftermarket stereos. You could check e-Bay, or a local automotive audio store for the adapter harness.
The easiest way it to get a wiring adapter, any auto parts place or even walmart sells them in the automotive radio department. They plug into the factor harness connector, but you will still have to splice the adapter to the new radio harness, but the wires will be color coded the same at the new harness.
all you gotta do is carfully pry the dash panel off (prying from the far left end is easiest) completely remove panel. then there are 2 clips that hold the factory sterio in place. push on the both clips while pulling the radio out. simply disconnect the wiring harness from the back of the radio. using an adapter avaliable at your local radio shop (scosche p/n gm02,mdarb andgm1483b) wiring harness, dash install kit, and antenna adapter. then simply match the colors on the new radio's harness to the adapter harness, crimping each connection with a "but plug". then simply follow the instructions included with the dash install kit to assemble the kit.connect the antenna adapter to radio, plug in all cables. test to see if everything works properly before the final install. install sterio into dash install kit, re installing kit where origional radio was. then simply put the panel back in its place by firmly pushing on it untill it snaps into place. then enjoy your new radio!
