Wirless signal problem

If the connection is OK there, it probably means the problem is in your home. I find unplugging my router at least once a week does wonders for my connection. You might also be just far enough from your router that your signal is marginal, try moving the laptop closer or move you router closer to where you work.

The problem lies in the wireless connection. Either the wireless adapter on the game console, or with your wireless router. Although wireless internet makes it easier to get online and play, it is actually the worst choice for online gaming. this is due to the lag time in the signal relay to the router. Wired internet is the best choice for online gaming. If you can hook your console up to a wired internet connection, then I suggest you do that.

You can purchase a usb Ethernet adapter that plugs into the side of your laptop. You could buy a wireless card that could fit into your computers card slot.

If you mean that you don't have Ethernet in your home you could go wireless and use whatever free access you might find. Check out an electronics store for improvised attachments. Many types are available.

As per crossover wiring you can interlace the computers via using their USB ports.

Are you sure you are reconnecting to the wireless router or not? If so please go to the wireless connection wizard and search again for the wifi connection and make sure that you are actually connecting to the wireless network.

You can also reset the wireless router from the reset button that is on the router itself (refer to manual for the location of the reset button) and try and to the above again.

look in your manual, turn off your internal modem, wifi. and then plug in your new adapter. restart and see how that works. if not then best buy has a great tec department
