2015 MERCURY PRO-KICKER 9.9hp. Power tilt screeches as you tilt it up and down. I have greased/oiled all the possible pivot points I can find. Seems a bit better but still screeches.

Possibly a bad bearing in the tilt motor? Try disconnecting the motor from the tilt mechanism if possible then operate the motor. If it makes noise but less of it, it will be because it is no longer under load. Good luck.

My pool pump is making a screeching noise

Chances are you either have something stuck in the impeller (not likely), or your motor bearings are worn out. If the latter is true, you are about to lose the use of your motor.
Depending on your motor, you may be able to have the bearings replaced. Otherwise, you may be looking at a new motor.
When the bearings on mine were going out (mine are non-serviceable), I just continued to run the motor til it completely failed. Then I replaced it.
If you are the "do-it-yourself-er" type, it is much cheaper to order a new motor online and change it out yourself. Takes less than 30 minutes. Be sure to replace the shaft seal when you change out the motor. I replaced my Sta-Rite Duraglas (A.O.Smith) motor and seal for $150.
Hope this helps.

My pump is making a screeeching sound

Most likely bearings. They will eventually break down. You might find someone in your area to replace them ... I suggest you find a back up motor.

Loud motor

Hi kootchbol
Sounds like you have a faulty bearing that is causing your noise and a leaky seal on the back of the pump between the motor and the pump

I have a Frigidaire Gallery dishwasher with model # GLDB958JB0 and it started to make a screeching noise only after a few mins into the wash cycle. I took out the filter and made sure there was noting...

Hello & Welcome to FixYa

The problem is with the impeller or the chopper assembly that is causing this screeching noise. You can take apart the bottom front access panel and clean the drain pump assembly completely and check for any broken parts inside that need replacement. If the problem returns then replacing the impeller/drain pump-motor assembly is recommended repair. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

Is it the motor?

The usual "screeching noise" in these washers is most often from the pump. Tilt the machine up so you can get the belt off (no tools required) and then turn all three of the pulleys. The center pulley is the transmission, the movable one is the motor and the last one is the pump. You will probably be able to feel or hear the noise and take appropriate actions. Good luck. AJ
