I have a muvo v100 and i can't find the drivers for it. all i want to do is download the original drivers so i can actually use it like i was able to when i first purchased the device. i don't care about the music that is on it, though i can't even delete them, as i have my music saved on an external hard drive for safe keeping. it would be helpful if i could actually use my muvo.

Muvo only plays Mp3 or Wma files.

use the warranty to get a new one

This should take you directly to the V100 manual. If it does not, you may have to go to the main Creative support site http://support.creative.com/, select "Support", select "MP3 Player", select link at bottom that says "If your product is not listed above, please click here", from the table select MUVO and then select MUVO V100 under archived products (don't forget to select "Next"). Select the Quick Start User Guide at the top of the page to download the guide. Please note that you may have to save the guide and then select "Unblock" in properties to be able to view it (the site explains how to do that).

My MuVo was having problems until I installed the latest firmware. The last firmware release was in July 2007. If you haven't updated the player's firmware since then, try downloading it and installing Creative MuVo V100 Firmware 1.05.01.

If you can't get your computer to even recognize the player anymore, you could try reinstalling the Creative Mass Storage Driver 1.07.00.250.
