MT HT-TX52 WORKED FOR A COUPLE OF MONTHS, THEN THE SUB WOOFER WOULD MAKE A VERY LOUD CRACKELING NOISE ALL OF A SUDDEN, BUT ONLY ONCE IN A WHILE, SO I UNPLUGGED IT AND JUST RAN THE OTHER 4 SPEAKERS. WORKED FINE FOR A YEAR NOW I AM HEARING THE SAME LOUD CRACKELING ON ANOTHER SPEAKER. IT'S DRIVING ME CRAZY, I THOUGHT IT WAS A SPEAKER PROBLEM BUT IT THINK ITS A RECIEVER. ANYONE ELSE HEARD OF THIS?

I think I figured out the problem., I have plugged in an APC small ups, it has a surge supressor and power filter, costs 65$ I guess it rectifies the incoming ac charges the DC battery and then feeds and inverter. Anyways I have had it in for 4 days and the problem has cleared up. I believe the problem may have been from a fire place heating fan motor, it just caused noise on power during its start up. it's probably a cap start motor.

Maybe a capacitor in the amp section is making this problem. The only way to find out is to check receiver in service and find which capacitor is bad...but this is not so easy

besides I must warn You - pay attention what kind of UPS You use to supply your system with clean power.Line interactive UPS is NOT a good solution as it has some very short time of black out when conecting the battery and this short time of black out - about 10ms - can destroy very sensible parts in any amp.The ONLY solution is a so called double conversion UPS - the battery is always supplaying your unit with power so if black out occur ,You have always 220 v

How do I hook my onkyo SKW-791powered subwoofer to my onkyo av receiver HT-R758

You need a RCA sub-woofer cable (analog mono) to connect between the receiver's sub-woofer Pre Out and the sub-woofer. This cable has a single RCA plug at each end of the cable. The cable is somewhat thicker than some audio RCA cables. You can use any RCA cable temporarily.

The manual for the HT-R758 is available from Onkyo here: https://onkyousa.com/ht-r758 . The current link to the manual is https://assets.onkyo-av.com/product-manuals/HT-S6500_English_2022-11-02-204020_ivkn.pdf?v=1667421620 . See page EN-13 (page 13 of the PDF) for connecting to the subwoofer. The original package came with a 10' RCA sub-woofer cable, see page EN-1 (page 81 of the PDF) for the speaker list.

I hope this helps.

What sub will my fosgate p2002 amp sound the best with

Sorry, picking a sub-woofer and cabinet is a very complicated and a subjective matter. To simplify things, I will break things down into two categories, each with trade offs, which can be discussed later if necessary. Let's say that there are two expectations from a sub-woofer. Some folks want sound quality (SQ) and others want Maximum Thump (MT), not SQ. And then there is the car you are putting it onto. With so many choices in sub-woofers, cabinet configurations & cars, a question like yours is very difficult to answer.SQ, will sound best to someone that likes and wants sound quality, MT, you will feel more that hear, which will not appeal the SQ lovers. So, with that said, what are you after? Some SQ lovers are into the music they are listening to, Most MT lovers are into shaking their car, everyone inside it and all those in the not too distant vicinity. So, you got to pick a side more or less. Good luck!

My sub woofer has been hooked up for almost 2 months and now all of a sudden is blanking out frequently like it has a bad blue tooth connection but they couldn't possibly be any closer. Any suggestions or...

Break the connection and power everything off for at least 10 minutes. Take the sub out of the room. Turn on the tuner and give it a few minutes to come "up to operating temp" (let it run for a bit).
After a while, turn the tuner off for another 10 min. Bring the sub back in; turn in the tuner, let it run a bit, re-establish the handshake between the woofer and tuner. That should take care of it. If it doesn't, one of the units (probably the sub) is in need of repair or replacement. Just because it's only a couple of months old doesn't mean anything any longer.

Speaker suddenly emits very loud noise. Have to unplug it.

Bad capacitor(s). Happened to mine too. Opened it up to find 2 completely blown apart, and 1 bulging. Relatively cheap and easy to replace.

The speaker connections are documented in the manual.

Are we talking about an external add-on sub not supplied with the HT-DS1000? If so, please identify it.

The interconnecting cable itself is a 13-pin DIN.

Samsung HT-TX52 keeps shutting off.

I've had the Samsung HT-TX52 for almost a year now, and just recently, after about 10 mintues it keeps shutting off. Its almost like new and hardly used, why is it doing this? There is no error message, it just shuts off. I've tried unplugging it for a day, taking out all my wires and reconnecting them perfectly, and it still does this robert
