How do you recalibrate the hilti pr25 laser level to the pra25 reciever... when I turn them on the reciever shows the up and down arrows and a question mark.

Tip: The max point reward for answering a question is 15.
To check calibration set the tool on a fixed surface. turn it on. let it autolevel, then mark the wall with a pencil at a distance of 15- 20 feet. rotate the laser on its axis 90 degrees, and see if it self levels to the same line. if it does not, send it to hilti, you'll have it back in a week.
To check calibration, take it into a hilti center. they'll check it for you. Otherwise, set it on a countertop or table. Mark its level at a distance of 15 feet, rotate it 90 degrees, and check to see if the marks jive. If the dont a calibration will cost $60 plus shipping. call 800 879 8000.

Try holding the bottom right button until is says CAL then press the top right button to start the arrows turning around the outside edge.
Hold the watch level and turn around in clockwise circles about 4 times until it shows the direction again.
shut the unit off by using the power button then turn it back on holding down the power button unitl the menu is displayed allowing you to turn the beep on/off with the + key and change the units with the - key
