The sound suddenly cut out for my Bose 321 GSX system

I was watching TV and the sound suddenly cut out I can play DVD's or watch TV fine, but get no sound. I have not changed anything before the sound cut out. Have tried unplugging or leaving off for extended periods of time with no luck.

    Sound cut off when I change volume.  Only way I can get it back is by switching to different source and back.  Pretty annoying.  Does anyone know what is wrong with this?

    While watching TV, if I adjust the volume, I lose sound. The TV is still working fine but I have no sound. I can get the sound back when I switch to another source and then back to AUX (for my TV sound). I tried unplugging the power from the bass module and leaving the system off for a while but that didn't fix the problem.

You have to run an audio path with RCA cables from the TV (or the cable box, as applicable) to the Bose, then disable or turn down the TV volume.

I have a Vizio P42HDTV10A with a Bose 321 system and no sound
Check you cables. make sure that the Dish Box is hooked up and if you are run'n your cables from the Dish Box to the DVD player then you will have to keep the player on.

Use to work for DirecTV i got this all the time

you can open it up and see if you have broken the ac/dc converter. disc tray could have jammed it up. if you dont know much about them then try calling customer support. ^^

Faint sound when watching TV with Bose GSX 321 System
I connected my surround sound to the audio output on my samsung tv and it works fine. Of course I don't have an hdmi input on my surround sound system because its an older model, but it works great. Just got to put the surround sound to audio instead of dvd or tuner setting
